Over 90% of land in Wales is farmed, and new political decision-makers will play a central role in shaping how Welsh farming is supported in the coming years.

It is essential that Senedd candidates understand how vital nature-friendly farming is for Wales’ future. By speaking with candidates, we can encourage them to commit to investing what’s needed to make it the new normal - and to do so quickly.

This guide offers useful tips and example questions to help you have effective and impactful conversations with your parliamentary candidates. You might meet them on your doorstep, contact them directly or see them at a local hustings.
