Could you be one of our Farming Champions?
As a membership network, our members are central to everything we advocate in policy, the press and media, and we prioritise making the voices of nature-friendly farmers heard.
To support our work, we’re launching a year-long programme offering 20 NFFN farmer members support and training to share their stories, speak on key issues and learn new skills in media and advocacy, all while raising the profile of nature-friendly farming.
This experience is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to develop their confidence in media work. Throughout the year, there will be opportunities to respond to media requests, feature in press coverage, and create content on NFFN’s social channels and website, plus optional support in creating content for your own channels.
We offer a small financial remuneration for your time and a package of training and support to help propel your stories to the forefront of farming coverage.
Our Farming Champions will receive:
An all-expenses paid trip to London for a media training workshop with 89up and the NFFN team
Virtual social media training workshops
Support from NFFN, including briefings on critical moments so you can stay informed on developments
1-to-1 preparation time with NFFN before media interviews
Takeovers on NFFN’s social media channels
Branded NFFN pack + equipment (such as a USB microphone and phone filming stand)
Travel expenses if required
Monetary contribution of £100
