Bruce Mackie - Rora Dairy, Peterhead

Bruce Mackie runs Middleton of Rora organic dairy farm near Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, with his wife Jane, producing award-winning Rora Dairy yogurt from their 250-cow herd using sustainable, welfare-focused methods, integrating renewable energy, biodiversity, and high-longevity breeding to minimize environmental impact, embodying a long-term "farm as if you will live forever" philosophy

Gordon and June Whiteford - Lower Mill of Tynet Farm, Buckie

Gordon and June Whiteford run Lower Mill of Tynet Farm near Buckie on the Moray coast, producing award‑winning free‑range and organic eggs, A2 milk, ice cream, and quality beef and lamb. A Nuffield Scholar, Gordon has grown the farm into a 150 ha enterprise focused on animal welfare, environmental stewardship, and direct‑to-consumer innovation, recognised as Sustainable Farm of the Year in 2024.
