Join Maryanne Freer for a visit to her small farm in the North Pennines National Landscape. Including a tour of her species-rich hay meadows, supporting farm infrastructure and small grazing herd.
We will discuss the benefits of species-rich grassland for your livestock and farm, how to manage, improve and restore your meadows and will showcase the importance of grazing management strategies for meadow health. After lunch there will be an informal discussion for any further questions and ways forward.
Farming in Protected Landscape staff will be present to answer questions about available funding through Farming in Protected Landscapes.
