Come and hear how John and the team have maintained a profitable horticulture business since 1991. On 7 acres, they are growing and supplying a range of organic vegetables to returning local customers.

Utilising crop rotations and cover crops Helen’s Bay Organic supply high-quality produce whilst improving soil health, helping pollinators, and all without artificial chemical inputs.

This farm walk is aimed at those growing or hoping to start growing commercially, but we welcome those interested in farming and food system change.

There will be a full walk around the site to see how the system works, as well as plenty of time for questions about the business and marketing aspects of the enterprise. 

Lunch will be provided.
