Join Claire Whittle for a practical workshop on integrated parasite management. A buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided.

In this workshop, Claire will discuss the crucial role of dung beetles in livestock health and parasite control amid ever-increasing wormer resistance. She’ll explain strategies for parasite control that minimise chemical dependence, looking at how to work with nature to improve livestock health and farm ecosystems.

This workshop will cover:

  • Integrated parasite management planning and strategies

  • Conducting faecal egg counts to assess worm burden

  • Improving livestock health
