This event is for those who wonder if cows are good for nature, climate and environment and what to think about when choosing who to pay for your beef.

Speakers:

David (NTS Head Ranger): David will explain the wider ecology (grasslands, wetlands, woodlands) of the reserve and how the cattle act as ecosystem engineers.

Ruth Ashton-Shaw (Local Farmer): A leader in organic food, Ruth will share her insights on the vital link between healthy soil and the food on our plates.

Nicola (Herdswoman)/David: Nicola will introduce us to the cows themselves discussing their welfare and David on how the GPS technology works on a day-to-day basis.
