Watch live spinning demonstrations, see and handle wool at different stages of processing, hear from Creation Mill and other organisations working across Scotland's fibre sector, and take part in informal discussions about the opportunities for Scottish wool.
Designed for farmers, crofters, smallholders and those working in textiles, this event is an opportunity to build new connections across the fibre supply chain and better understand how farming and textile production can work together to create greater value from Scotland's natural fibres.
This event is the second in NFFN Scotland's three-part Nature Friendly Fibre Series, connecting farmers with the people and processes that transform Scotland's natural fibres into valuable products.

Ruth Ashton-Shaw is an organic and regenerative farmer at Low Auldgirth Steading in Dumfries & Galloway, where she has transformed her farm into a thriving, diversified business built around nature-friendly farming. Producing meat, eggs and wool from native and heritage breeds, Ruth is passionate about demonstrating how regenerative farming can support profitable businesses, healthy ecosystems and resilient rural communities.
Creation Mill CIC – Community Textile Centre, Langholm
Creation Mill CIC is a community-led textile organisation based in Langholm, working to reconnect people with every stage of the textile journey—from fibre production to finished products and textile reuse. Through workshops, skills training, farm and fibre experiences, and a strong commitment to sustainability and the circular economy, Creation Mill is helping to revitalise the South of Scotland's textile heritage while creating new opportunities for farmers, makers and local communities.
