Arable Plant Identification and Management Workshop – Andover
Find out about arable plants in the Wessex and how farmland can be managed for them.
Arable plants are the fastest declining group of plants in the countryside, but they can have enormous benefits for farmland wildlife. This afternoon workshop focuses on how to identify some of the plants and what management can be put in place.
We will meet at Upper Clatford Village Hall at 1:45 for a prompt 2pm start, with the indoor workshop to finish by 3pm. We will then visit Westover Farm for a walk until 5pm looking at the arable plants and discussing their management.
This workshop is for farmers, land managers, farm contractors, farm advisers and agronomists.
